![]() The back of the neck show how much playing time it has on it, all the way up the neck. The binding is perfect, although the pickguard shows a little deterioration in a couple of places. All original except for the horrendous Gibson-style tuners and perhaps the control knobs (although they are old and have the same patina as the pickup and tailpiece). Far cleaner-sounding than either the P-90 or the Franz, a little hotter, and the most pleasant surprise: less 60-cycle hum.įound covered in grime in its original case, this Corvette has a laminated spruce top and smaller headstock. I had never played a “real” Dynasonic before. ![]() I have been looking for something to complement my other two ‘50’s era archtops (a 1950 Gibson ES-125 with P-90 and a 1953 Guild X-150 with Franz pickup). ![]() ![]() These are getting hard to find, especially those that have not been picked clean of their Dynasonic. ![]()
